<p><strong>Clyde Cargill</strong> recently celebrated his 28<sup>th</sup> wedding anniversary with his wife, Debra Huson, a Cal State Fresno. Cargill writes, “I retired in 2010 as chief of logistics programs, Department of the Army, with 33 years of service. <p><strong>1981</strong></p>
<p><strong>Johnny Rumbough</strong>, director of missions of Lexington Association, was elected president of the Associational Directors of Missions for the Southern Baptist Convention. He has been a member of the CSU board of trustees and holds an honorary doctorate from CSU.  Johnny and his wife, Valerie, have grown children. Their son, Jason, is a 2001 CSU graduate.</p>
<p><strong>1989 </strong></p>
<p><strong>Michael Gunter</strong> has published his second book, <em>Blackwell</em>. His venture into the realm of fiction is a human drama about an extraterrestrial encounter. Combining elements of drama, humor and suspense, his realistic science fiction probes the depths of what it means to be truly human. In addition to writing, he speaks to groups and teaches about the craft of writing. Michael’s story, <em>One of a Million Things</em>, won third runner-up in the Colonnade Writing Contest at CJM Books and will be included in their 2012 anthology of short stories.  Michael and his wife, the former <strong>Tammi Bush ’92</strong>, and their family live in Richmond, Va. <em>Blackwell</em> is available in both print and e-reader versions. <p><strong>Tonya Tate Houston</strong> has received a doctor of philosophy in educational administration from the University of South Carolina. She is an assistant principal at Northwood Academy in North Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>1992</strong></p>
<p>Freshman Stephanie Corvino is continuing the Corvino family tradition of attending CSU.  Mom, <strong>Michelle ’92,</strong> and dad, <strong>Scott ’90,</strong> are graduates. Other family members who have graduated from CSU are: <strong>David Corvino ’00</strong>, <strong>Michael Corvino ’10</strong> and <strong>Gene Corvino ’04 MBA</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>1993</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ansel Brown</strong> performed his song, <em>When You Fly</em>, before the final shuttle launched at the Kennedy Space Center this summer. He lives in Charlotte, N.C.</p>
<p><strong>1997</strong></p>
<p><strong>Jennifer Whatley Govea</strong>, and her husband, Enrique, have a translation company and work with the Women’s Missionary Union and the North American Mission Board to translate resources into Spanish and other languages. NAMB’s quarterly magazine, <em>On Mission</em>, is available in English and Spanish, <em>En Misión</em>. They also work with North Point Ministries to translate Andy Stanley’s sermons and some small group material into other languages. Jennifer writes, “We moved to San José, Costa Rica, in August to create a church for Latin Americans. <p><strong>Dr. Glenda Levin MEd</strong>, is the director of secondary schools for Berkeley County School District. She was most recently the principal of Hanahan High School.</p>
<p><strong>Andrew Bell</strong> and his wife, Meghan, proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Gretchen Elise, born July 7. She was 7 lbs, 9 oz and 21 inches long. They live in Hanahan.</p>
<p><strong>2000</strong></p>
<p><strong>William Parker</strong> has been elected to serve a two-year term as president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Charleston Chapter. He is a financial serves professional and agent for New York Life Insurance Company. A 2010 New York Life Executive Council member, he earned a Certified in Long-Term Care designation. He has been a member of the Medical University of South Carolina Foundation’s Advisory Council since 2009. He and his wife, Melissa, live in North Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>2001</strong></p>
<p><strong>Andrea W. Balongo</strong> visited campus this summer. He is head, treasury marketing corporate and institutional sales for Kenya Commercial Bank Group. He provides hedging solution to manage foreign exchange risk for the group and its customers. He resides in Nairobi, Kenya, and wants to hear from former classmates at <a href="mailto:andreabalongo@yahoo.com">andreabalongo@yahoo.com</a>. <p><strong>Andre Dukes</strong> is associate principal at St. John’s High School in Charleston County. He attended a two-week Leadership Summit at Harvard University this summer. He is in the Principals for Tomorrow program for Charleston County School District and the S.C. Department of Education. He was the NFTE National Teacher of the Year in 2006-2007.</p>
<p><strong>2003</strong></p>
<p><strong>David R. Weiss</strong> has been named South Carolina marketing representative for Southern Mutual Church Insurance Company in Columbia. He previously served more than five years as CSU’s director of alumni affairs and annual giving. He is a member of the CSU board of visitors and lives in Summerville with his wife, Stephanie, and son, Cameron, 2.</p>
<p><strong>2004</strong></p>
<p><strong>Amy Dixon Watson</strong> and her husband, <strong>Thom Watson ’03</strong> announce the birth of a son, Isaac Barton Watson, born Aug. 12. He weighed 7 lbs, 3 oz and was 19 ½ inches long. Amy and Thom were married May 22, 2010, and they live in Columbia.</p>
<p><strong>2005</strong></p>
<p>Jessica Brooke Davis and <strong>Charles “Chase” M. Mount II</strong> were married June 25 in Union, S.C. He is a dermatological pharmaceutical sales representative with PharmaDerm. They live in West Columbia.</p>
<p><strong>2006</strong></p>
<p><strong>Danielle Baskin</strong> and Brian Waldron were married May 29, 2010 in Charleston. She earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from MUSC in 2010 and is now the oncology pharmacy resident at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He is a 2005 Citadel graduate and is employed at BB&amp;T as a commercial credit risk analyst. They live in Winston-Salem, N.C. Danielle received the Myrtle E. Hamrick Award at commencement in 2006.</p>
<p><strong>Ashley DeRosa Fieber</strong> and her husband, Michael Fieber, announce the birth of their son, Brayden Fieber, born March 5. He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and was 20 inches long. Ashley and Michael were married July 3, 2009, in St. Augustine, Fla. Ashley has been an AML compliance officer at Deutsche Bank in the Jacksonville, Fla., location since February 2009.</p>
<p><strong>Carlaise Gadsden DeVeaux MBA</strong>, is a victim advocate with the Charleston Police Department, where she works with young women at Charleston Development Academy. Earlier this year she received the Dr. Sid Katz Award for Outstanding Service Provider from People Against Rape.</p>
<p><strong>Spc. Christopher Freshman</strong> graduated from Army National Guard basic training Sept. 1 in Fort Benning, Ga. He is a police officer for the City of Charleston. The chaplain at Fort Benning was <strong>Jesse Adkinson ’08 MBA</strong>, and a member of the CSU religion faculty from 2004-2008.</p>
<p><strong>2007</strong></p>
<p><strong>Anna Leigh Taylor</strong> and Cory Graham Alexander were married June 25 in Lugoff. She is a teacher for Richland II School District. They live in Elgin.</p>
<p><strong>2009</strong></p>
<p><strong>Brittany Bolick</strong>, head soccer coach at Watauga High School in Boone, N.C., was named the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference Coach of the Year.</p>
<p><strong>Madeleine Ruth Elson Fincher</strong> and Charles Tyler Davis were married Aug. 20 in Mount Pleasant. She works at Advanced Technology International and is working on her MBA at CSU. They live in Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>Julia Frances Nigro</strong> and Paul Michael Vasquez were married Aug. 6 in Charleston. She works for Jackson &amp; Hill in Mount Pleasant as an accountant. They live in Hanahan.</p>
<p><strong>Sheryl Rector MBA</strong>, joined Honest-1 Auto Care in March. After a short time with Honest-1 she became the area representative for South Carolina. Honest-1 Auto Care is a full service auto repair franchise committed to taking environmentally sustainable actions. Rector writes, “This commitment to the environment has raised the standard for all auto repair businesses.”</p>
<p><strong>Dorothy Elizabeth Wilkerson</strong> and Michael Chapin Merrill were married May 21 in Charleston. She is the choral teacher at Summerville Catholic School and a manager with Express Clothing in Northwoods Mall. They live on Johns Island.</p>
<p><strong>2010</strong></p>
<p><strong>Ashleigh Newell</strong> and Michael Dockery, a Citadel graduate, were married Dec. 18, 2010. Ashleigh is a crime scene technician with Charleston Police Department and is back in school at CSU pursuing a master’s in criminal justice.  Michael is a 2<sup>nd</sup> lieutenant in the Army National Guard and is working on his master’s degree in theology at Liberty.  They live in North Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>2011</strong></p>
<p>Elizabeth Bradley Bishop and <strong>Joseph Chance Ledford</strong> were married June 11 at Brookgreen Gardens. He is a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army and has served in Iraq.</p>
<p><strong>Brittany Adele Williams</strong> and Christopher Travis Carter were married July 30 in Hemingway. She is employed by Georgetown County School District and is in youth and children’s ministry at Center Baptist Church. They live in Hemingway.</p>

He is responsible for managing the distributor relationships that drive the majority of Symetra’s life insurance and annuity sales, including major bank partners, national brokerages and large general agencies. Most recently, John was head of key accounts for the retirement income business at MassMutual Financial Group. He drove production growth through sales campaigns and new selling agreements with top-tier national distribution outlets. Before MassMatual, John spent nearly 10 years at ING, where he introduced ING annuity distribution in the bank channel.</p>
<p><strong>1983: </strong>Terry Dale Smith, aka Bongo, and his wife, Anita G. Smith, celebrated their 25th silver wedding anniversary May 10. Their daughter, Amanda Grace Smith, graduated from Erwin High School in Asheville, N.C., June 11.</p>
<p><strong>1989: </strong>Colleen Lenahan Almoney has accepted a new position as director of guest services for Seaside Vacations, a leading vacation rental company on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. <p><strong>1989: </strong>Courtney Jackson has been promoted to a position of management, skills developer, with Georgia Pacific April 2, after five years with the Zachary/Port Hudson facility in Lousiana. He writes, “I completed my master of management in human resource management at the University of Phoenix-online in September 2008. On March 6, 2011, my wife, Karen, and I were ordained as deacon and deaconess at Voices of Faith Ministries in Baton Rouge, La. Our mother church of the same name is located in Stone Mountain, Ga., with the Bishop Gary Hawkins presiding. Go Bucs!”</p>
<p><strong>1991: </strong>Leigh Darby Cappillino and Point of Grace captured three awards at this year’s Dove Awards, a program that honors the nation’s top Christian artists. Point of Grace won country recorded song of the year for There Is Nothing Greater Than Grace; country album, No Changin’ Us and Christmas album of the year, Home for the Holidays.</p>
<p><strong>1993: </strong>Caleb Coffin has been appointed to the board of trustees at CSU. He works for the Internal Revenue Service as a tax revenue agent. He and his wife, Charla ’96, have two children.</p>
<p><strong>1993: </strong>Rev. Monte G. Kuykendall and his wife, Amy, live in Dawsonville, Ga. He writes, “I am a counselor to students at the North Georgia College &amp; State University, a military college. <p><strong>1994: </strong>Kimberly Flowers Britt recently completed her PhD in higher education administration at the University of South Carolina and is department chair of communications at Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Conway.</p>

<p><strong>1998: </strong>Mike Brown MBA, is vice president of wholesale and industrial services for Santee Cooper, a state-owned utility. Formerly, he was manager of economic development director of industrial services.</p>

<p><strong>1999: </strong>Jason S. Jurkowski has been inducted into the Disabled American Veterans, a nonprofit organization that supports our veterans. Jurkowski holds a master’s degree in public health.</p>
<p><strong>2001: </strong>Darci Biesczat and Dominic Chidchimo were married Oct. 2, 2010, in Crown Point, Ind. She received her master’s from the University of Illinois in food science and human nutrition and is currently employed as a technology scientist with the Wrigley Company, subsidiary of Mars. Dominic is employed by UPS. They reside in Crown Point.</p>

Just recently, I received a master of library and information science at the University of South Carolina. My goal for the 2011-2012 school term is to be a media specialist. I reside in Columbia and am a fourth grade teacher at Jackson School. I taught third for three years and fourth for two years. I’m happily married to the love of my life, and we have a two-year-old Bassett Hound named Buddy. I would like to thank the entire faculty and staff at CSU for helping me to become a competent, caring and committed educator.”</p>

<p><strong>2008: </strong>Clay Fawcett and Lauren Roper Fawcett ’09 announce the birth of their son, Grayson Hayes Fawcett, Feb. 20, in Beaufort. He weighed 7 lbs, 4 oz. Grayson is the grandson of Karen White Fawcett ’76.</p>
<p>Ashley Leigh Knight and Wayne Eugene Eckert III were married Feb. 19 at First Baptist Church, Charleston. She is a teacher at James Island Christian School.</p>
<p>(2 pics) Kari Ray and Jarod Seay ’05 were married June 16, 2007, in North Charleston. Kari works at HealthFirst in North Charleston, and Jarod works at the Passport Services, CGI in Charleston. Kari writes, “We welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Kendal Brooklyn Seay, March 30. She weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, 19 1.2 inches, and yes, she was born with all that hair!”</p>
<p>Jermaine Whirl MBA, married Marqueta Roper April 20. He obtained his second master’s degree (Med in adult education with a concentration in human resource management) from Armstrong Atlantic State University in December 2010. <p>John F. Peek was elected president of the 700-member South Carolina Football Officials Association after completing a 3-year term as the local district director for the Charleston area. He completed his 27th season as a football official in the fall. John retired in December as a hearing officer with South Carolina Probation and Parole and now serves as a professor of criminal justice at the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie campus. He and his wife, Gale, live in Summerville.</p>

I graduated with a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in clinical mental health from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in May 2008. <p><strong>Dr. Vashti K. Washington</strong> is the new superintendent of the Jasper County School District. Previously, she was an associate superintendent of the Charleston County School District.</p>
<p><strong>1980</strong></p>
<p><strong>Rev. Bobby Byrd</strong> is the transitional pastor at South Hartsville Baptist Church. He is employed by the S.C. Employment Security Commission in Marion.</p>
<p><strong>1981</strong></p>
<p><strong>Virginia Kirkland Hammond</strong> is the new minister of music at Elko Baptist Church. She is also a kindergarten teacher for the Aiken County School District.</p>
<p><strong>1985</strong></p>
<p><strong>Tony Fountain</strong> has been appointed to the national Commission on Ethics in Aging Services to serve a three-year term. Tony writes, “The Commission identifies, analyzes and provides education for nonprofit providers and their affiliates as directly related to public policy and ethical implications surrounding the senior adult population and those nonprofit providers who offer related services across the country.” Tony is the president/CEO of Westminster Towers Senior Living Services in Rock Hill. Additionally, he is an International Accreditation Surveyor with the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission in Washington, D.C., is an instructor with Duke University’s Nonprofit Management Program, is chair-elect for the Board of Directors of Aging Services of South Carolina, is a House of Delegates board member for the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and is on the CSU Board of Visitors and Alumni Board.</p>
<p><strong>1997</strong></p>
<p><strong>Melissa Crowley Dean</strong> was named a distinguished education for the 2010 Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching, representing the Schertz-Cibolo Universal City Independent School District and John A. Sippel Elementary School. Melissa received a $1,500 cash prize, a certificate from the mayor of San Antonio and a Tiffany &amp; Co. Crystal Apple Award from Trinity University. She is a fourth grade teacher at Sippel Elementary, where she was selected as its first teacher of the year in 2009.</p>
<p><strong>2001</strong></p>
<p><strong>David Cobden</strong> writes, “The past 10 years have been somewhat of a whirlwind and have absolutely flown by. Immediately after graduating from CSU, I continued my education at Georgetown and Dartmouth, earning master’s degrees in biotechnology and public health economics. Thereafter, I began working in the pharmaceutical industry and am currently based in upstate New York covering a wide region of the eastern U.S. as a health economist working with large insurance companies. I’ve also been working toward completing a PhD in health policy and economics, which Lord willing, I’ll be able to complete sometime later this year. The Lord has been so unbelievably merciful and faithful to me and my family, it just leaves me in awe. I hope everyone from my class is doing well; unfortunately, I haven’t kept in touch as often as I ought, but look forward to remedying that – check me out on Facebook if you’ve got it.”</p>
<p><strong>2002</strong></p>
<p><strong>Crissy S. Dillahey</strong> graduated from The Citadel Graduate College May 9 with a master’s degree in elementary administration and educational leadership. She is the communications and technology teacher at Chicora School of Communications in North Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>Lili Gresham</strong> was named to the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 for leadership in business and community involvement. She is director of corporate relations and planned giving at Charleston Southern and is the daughter of <strong>Faye Breland Gresham ’73. </strong>Pictured with Lili, center, are <strong>Virginia Williamson ’99, ’06 MBA</strong>, and <strong>Juliana Londono Johnson ’08 MBA</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>2004</strong></p>
<p>Proud parents, <strong>Samantha Dyal</strong> and her husband, Buck, announce the birth of their third little blessing, Bradley Asher Dyal, born Oct. 28, 2009.</p>
<p><strong>Kate Hayden Jackson, MEd ’05</strong>, and her husband, Eric, welcomed their first child, Kayden Grace Jackson, on Feb. 8. She weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz. They live in Brunswick, Ga.</p>
<p><strong>Kristen Elizabeth Ward</strong> and Dustin Robert DeGoursey were married March 6 on Sullivan’s Island. She is an account executive with Amedisys Home Health. They live in Lexington.</p>

<p>Charly Elizabeth Moore and <strong>Kevin Mitchell Pryor</strong> were married March 27 in Florence. He is employed by AT&amp;T, and they live in Florence.</p>
<p><strong>2006</strong></p>
<p><strong>Yonnick Hammond</strong> was recently featured in <em>Roll Call</em> as a new staffer with Rep. Jeff Miller (R-Fla.). Hammond’s duties are covering health care, housing, small business and Social Security.</p>
<p><strong>Casey Jean Locklear</strong> and Joseph Christopher Heard were married Feb. 20. Casey writes, “I am currently working as a Spanish/English bilingual accounts receivable representative for Synter Resource Group in North Charleston. My husband (a 2004 Clemson grad) is a systems engineer for ARINC, also in North Charleston. We are living in West Ashley and are expecting our first child at the end of September.</p>
<p><strong>SuQuesta Williams</strong> and Tsgt. Monte Dixon were married April 10 in North Charleston. She is employed by the S.C. Commission for the Blind, and they live in North Charleston.</p>

<p><strong>Kathryn Leigh Beaty</strong> and Kevin Brooks Meetze were married April 3 in Rock Hill. She is a teacher at Eastover Elementary School in Charlotte, and they live in Huntersville, N.C.</p>
<p><strong>Julie Lane Gunnin</strong> and David Goodwin Kopp Jr. were married April 17 in Marion. She is women’s director of mobilization for Campus Outreach Ministries. They live in Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>2008</strong></p>
<p><strong>Katharine “Katie” Baxley </strong>and<strong> Anthony Pieretti Jr. ’09 </strong>were<strong> </strong>married Dec. 12, 2009, at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston. Anthony writes, “We are both graduate students. Katie is a master of arts in teaching early childhood education student at the College of Charleston, and I am a master of arts in teaching social studies student at The Citadel.” <strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Heather Kuehl</strong> recently had her second paranormal title released with Eternal Press, <em>Promises to Keep</em>. <p><strong>Kathleen Love</strong>, MS in criminal justice, has been promoted to sergeant with the North Charleston Police Department.</p>
<p>Kristina Nicole Steen and <strong>Bryan Gregory Sadler</strong> were married Oct. 9, 2009, at Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner. Bryan is a police officer with the North Charleston Police Department, and his wife is a medical assistant at Doctor’s Care in North Charleston.</p>

<p><strong>Howard Hodges</strong> retired June 30, 2009, from the Army National Guard after 27 years of service, including three years on active duty with the U.S. Army parachute team, the Golden Knights, and a tour in Bosnia as a peacekeeper. He spent the last five years on active duty with the Army Guard doing personnel and public affairs work. Currently, he is the transition assistance advisor for reservists in Maryland who have deployed to combat zones. He helps them navigate the Veterans Administration and Department of Defense bureaucracy to make sure they get the benefits, compensation, healthcare and other assistance that they might need. <p><strong>Frank Shivers</strong> has written a new book, <em>Evangelistic Preaching 101: Voices of the Past and Present on Effective Preaching</em>. Shivers is a vocational evangelist, runs a summer camp and has led more than 500 revivals and published numerous books.</p>
<p><strong>1984</strong></p>
<p><strong>Steven Farr</strong> has recently been promoted to vice president of human resources at Maryhurst, a child welfare agency in Louisville, Ky. Steven and his wife, Evelyn, have one son, Adam. They live in Crestwood, Ky.</p>
<p><strong>Jimmy Hanf</strong> is director of missions for Kershaw Baptist Association. He was formerly pastor of St. George Baptist Church in Orangeburg.</p>
<p><strong>1997</strong></p>
<p><strong>Aimee Fulmer</strong> has been named Assistant Principal of the Year in Berkeley County. She is assistant principal at Berkeley Intermediate School.</p>
<p><strong>Fermin Gonzaga </strong>is a captain in the U.S. Air Force with more than 20 years in service. Currently he is the computer network defense operations officer/program manager in charge of deploying Host-Base Security System for the Defense Information Systems Agency in the National Command Region/D.C. area.</p>
<p><strong>2001</strong></p>
<p><strong>Jason Moyer</strong>, vice president for sales and marketing for Verterra Sport, is marketing the company’s new line of golf shirts made from corn fiber. Moyer was a member of the men’s golf team and was a mini tour player. For more info about the shirts visit www.verterrasport.com.</p>

<p><strong>Ashley Steen-Stefani</strong> has earned her master’s degree in human resources management from Columbia University Graduate School of Business where she maintained a 4.0 GPA. She and her husband, Steven, a nuclear engineer, currently reside in Virginia, but will be permanently relocating to their home in California this spring.</p>

<p><strong>Kristen Elizabeth Burrows</strong> and Jeremy J. Gilchrist were married Oct. 3, 2009, at Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner. Kristen is currently working on a master’s degree with the University of Phoenix, and her husband is a mechanic for the Town of Mt. Pleasant.</p>

<p><strong>Andrew Birchenough</strong> is the college bookstore manager at the Art Institute of Charleston.</p>
<p><strong>Katherine Shufford Lane</strong> and Scott Thomas Bellamy were married April 18, 2009, in Charleston. She is a teacher. They live in Mt. Pleasant.</p>
<p><strong>Wayne Putnam</strong> has received the Certified Public Purchasing Officer credential from the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council. Wayne is a purchasing officer with the School District of Oconee County in Walhalla.</p>
<p><strong>Lauren Roper</strong> and <strong>Clay Fawcett ’07</strong> were married Oct. 3, 2009, in Beaufort. Clay’s mother, <strong>Karen Fawcett</strong>, is a 1976 CSU alum.</p>

<p><strong>1968:</strong> <em>Howard M. Surface</em> has been appointed health director of the Lee County Health Department in Sanford, N.C. He received a master’s in public health degree from UNC, Chapel Hill in 1974.</p>
<p><strong>1969:</strong> <em>John Harper, Ph.D.,</em> is the school superintendent for the Bartow County School District in Cartersville, Ga. Bartow County, about 50 miles northwest of Atlanta in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, has seen continued growth. Harper oversees a growing county system which must constantly evolve to meet the needs of its student population of more than 14,000 students.</p>
<p><strong>1973:</strong> <em>Harry Scarborough</em> is retiring from the ministry after 42 years of preaching. Most recently, he was pastor of New Life Church in Goose Creek, and has been a member of the Board of Trustees at CSU. He plans to do interim work and pulpit supply preaching.</p>
<p><strong>1974:</strong> After a career with the Federal Government that spanned 53 years, <em>Jerry E. Beckley</em> retired to Memphis, where he continued his academic career as a professor of management science. He is currently the department chair of business and accounting at National College of Business and Technology, Bartlett Campus. <p><strong>1978:</strong> <em>David Berry</em> was named a Carolina Panthers High School Coach of the Week during the 2008 season. David is head football coach at Blackville-Hilda High School in Blackville. During his time at Blackville-Hilda, the Fighting Hawks have won 13 region championships and three state championships.</p>
<p><strong>1983:</strong> <em>B.J. “Joe” Campbell, Ph.D.,</em> has been named customer relations manager for Watson Engineering’s manufacturing facility located in Piedmont. Watson Engineering is headquartered in Taylors, Mich., and is a multimillion dollar global ISO certified, tier one industry supplier offering a wide range of services from the simplest of vehicle builds to high-volume production runs.</p>
<p><strong>1990:</strong> <em>Susan Edwards</em> is the director of advancement at Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Boston, and is working on her master of arts in philanthropy from St. Mary’s University.</p>
<p><strong>1992:</strong> <em>Holly Michelle Roberts</em> MEd ’02 and <em>Dr. Daniel Webster Cross</em> IV ’90 were married June 28 in Moncks Corner. Holly is a teacher with the Berkeley County School District, and Daniel is employed by Georgetown Hospital Systems, Lexington Medical Center and East Cooper Regional Medical Center. He is a member of the CSU Board of Directors, Board of Visitors and Legacy Society. They live in Moncks Corner.</p>
